Lodging options in Sitio do Conde are plentiful and inexpensive. Nothing is more than a few blocks from the beach, and most options are either around the town center or spread out along the coast south of town. Keep in mind that most lodging establishments in Brazil, especially the ubiquitous pousadas, include breakfast.

Because of the small number of expected guests, and because November is low season, we are not reserving a block of rooms in any one place. Instead we offer the following suggestions, which we would be happy to book for you.

Apoena ecopousada
This resort located half a kilometer south of the main square on the beach appears to be the nicest place in town; we are considering having the wedding reception there. Bungalows for two are 150 Reais; rooms are 130 Reais*. They also claim to speak English here. (And the flag photo on this website shows the palms swaying over Apoena.)

Hotel Coco Beach
Here is another resort, this one 1.5 kilometers from town, that like Apoena is Swiss run. Prices are likely similar to Apoena, and the management seems to be very friendly.

Hotel Praia do Conde

Pousada Hawai (no website)
This place that has its own take on the spelling of the 50th state is where we stayed in Sitio last year. Eddie, a very helpful man who likes to talk about politics (in Portugese, no English) and his wife run this clean and simple pousada. Rooms are small but have TV and air conditioning. Breakfast buffet is HUGE, homemade and delicious. Couple blocks from the beach. 80 Reais
